You got a Hex string value and wants to convert it to a decimal integer then use following functions.
Convert.ToInt64(strHexValue,16) to convert a hex value string to a Long variable.
Convert.ToInt32(strHexValue,16) to convert a hex value string to a Integer variable.
Example function below:
Function HexStringID_to_Long(ItemID As String) As Long
Dim iHandle As Long = 0
iHandle = Convert.ToInt64(ItemID , 16)
Return iHandle
End Function
If ItemID="0F3321A" then the function above will return 15938074.
