Driver problems

You trying to install a bit older driver on Windows 10 and you get following message:

"this operation requires an interactive window station"

Newer Windows 10 releases seems to add some extra protection layer when installing drivers😞

Luckily someone else got the problem and found a solution:

The Solution: Take OwerShip of c:\Windows\System32\Drivers and \DriverStore folders.

VS2013 The components for communicating with FTP servers are not installed

trying to upload a project to a ftp site you get the following error

Error    110    Failed to connect to 'ftp://YourFtpSiteHere/' with the following error:

Unable to create the Web site 'ftp://YourFtpSiteHere'. The components for communicating with FTP servers are not installed.

Uploading another program to same ftp server and works fine but not the first one.

Solution 3: Remove your *.suo file (personal setting) works!!!😀


Solution 2:
So I had to reset all my user data
Navigate in a command prompt to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE  (For VS2013)

Then run: devenv /resetuserdata

This solution also failed after a while 😕

I managed to get it up and running by installing Web Deploy 3.6 64bit. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=43717
